Staff Announcement

Upower’s new year began on a wonderful note. We’re very pleased to announce that Kate Holman has been promoted to executive director and Corrina Yu formally joins us as program director.

Kate started with Upower as a volunteer coach and advanced to become program director. From day one, her commitment to our mission, dedication to our students, and ability to connect with our community have made a strong impact on where Upower is today. Kate is the natural choice to lead our organization.

Corrina, also known as Coach Coco, has been a stellar volunteer – both as a coach and an advocate on our behalf. Corrina’s professional background includes teaching and most recently, working for YouthCare where she managed the Interagency Garden Works program. Corrina’s positive energy is infectious. Students and coaches alike are drawn to her. Welcome to Upower Corrina!
