In an effort to best serve the community and our partners, Upower has created a Trauma-Informed Training for King County Organizations working with underserved populations. The basic Trauma Training focuses on the science of trauma and how it affects the mind and body and further identifies trauma-informed practices and how to implement them.

The Upower Trauma Training provides an in-depth overview of coaching with a Trauma-Informed lens and how this approach is taken into Upower programming. This training will focus on how Upower uses movement and play to help teach important emotion regulation and mental skill-building.
