Highpoint Summer Basketball Program

June 13, 2023

Ready for round two? Upower summer basketball programming is back at Highpoint Community Center. The program offers a great opportunity for young basketball enthusiasts between the ages of 13 and 18 to improve their skills and have a memorable summer.

Upower focuses on providing quality basketball instruction while also fostering a positive and inclusive environment for all participants. Participants will have the chance to learn new basketball skills, techniques, and strategies. They will receive coaching and guidance from Upower coaches who are dedicated to helping them reach their full potential. The program may include various drills, practice sessions, friendly competitions, and other basketball-related activities.

Participants can expect to learn new basketball skills, improve their fundamental techniques, enhance their understanding of the game, and develop their physical fitness. The program aims to cater to participants of all skill levels, so whether someone is a beginner or has prior basketball experience, they can benefit from the program. Encourage your friends to join you, as learning and playing basketball together can make the experience even more enjoyable!

To join the program, interested participants must sign our Program Participant Release of Liability. To access the Program Participant Release of Liability form, interested individuals can click on the provided link or scan the QR code on the flyer. This document helps ensure that all participants understand and acknowledge the potential risks associated with participating in physical activities like basketball. It typically includes clauses related to assuming responsibility for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the program. While the Release of Liability is a standard procedure for programs like this, it’s still essential for participants and their parents or guardians to carefully read and understand the contents of the document before signing. It’s designed to protect both the organizers of the program and the participants themselves.
