COVID FAQ’s
Do I need to wear a mask?
Yes. As of now, we are currently asking all attendees to mask up when not actively eating or drinking at their table.
We are continually monitoring the ongoing situation and will be following all King County Dept. of Health recommendations and mandates relevant on October 14th.
What happens if the event is canceled due to COVID?
If we need to cancel the event due to covid, you will have 3 options.
1) Donate your registration fee’s to Upower
2) Rollover your registration fee for Dodge for a Cause 2022
3) We will happily issue a refund upon request.
Do I need to be vaccinated?
We are requiring all attendees to be vaccinated at this time. Masks will also be required for everyone at this time.
Is the event space covid safe?
The Magnuson Hanger is a very large (21,000+ Sq ft) space with the capability of being transformed into an “indoor/outdoor” space with the two large hangar doors open. Our plan is to have both hanger doors open to maximize airflow.
GENERAL FAQ’s
How many people can I have on a team?
8 total players are needed for each round of dodgeball. Players can substitute in and out from your table of 10.

How many games does my team get?
Each team will get a minimum of 3 games, with additional games possible if your team advances to the semi-finals.
Will there be vegan/veggie food options?
Yes. Frelard Tamales will be serving up both vegetarian and vegan options.
Can I bring my kids?
No. This is a 21+ up event.
What is the fair market value of my ticket?
$150
Is there free parking?
Yes! parking is available at the Magnuson Park public lot. (Parking Map)
What do I need to bring?
Clothes to move and play in are highly recommended, as well as layers based on the weather. Hanger doors will be open to allow for maximum airflow.
Costumes are strongly encouraged!!! Prizes will be given to the team with the best costume.
Can I donate at the event?
Yes. We would be more than happy to process a donation at the event and can accept all forms of payment.
What if I am solo or don’t have enough for a full team?
If you are solo or a smaller team, sign up for the “Safety Zone” and then contact Lydia (lydia@u-power.org) to be put on a waitlist for possible team creation. We will do our best to create teams based on availability.
What if we have a team member not make it and are short a player?
If your team is going to be short a player (less than 8) let us know as soon as possible so we can coordinate a stand-in from our waitlist.
What if I want to volunteer?
We would love your help! Please contact Lydia (lydia@u-power.org)
What if I don’t want to play?
Playing is not required to attend! If you would like to attend and not play, register for the “Safety Zone” and cheer on the teams from afar.
What if I get injured?
We will have first aid supplies and medical professionals on hand.
What do we get if we win?
We will have trophies and prizes for the winning teams, best dressed, and more!
